Veselka: The Movie Hits the Oscar Radar

Veselka: The Rainbow on the Corner at the Center of the World premiered to critical acclaim at the Santa Barbara Film Festival on February 9. Directed by Michael Fiore and narrated by David Duchovny, this documentary is now one of six Oscar shortlist contenders for Best Documentary Feature about Ukraine. It tells the inspiring journey of our longstanding client, Veselka, NYC’s iconic Ukrainian restaurant.

Executive produced by Bradley and Jonina Skaggs, it captures the heart of Veselka and its legacy of refuge for displaced Ukrainians, a purpose rediscovered amid the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. The documentary goes live on November 12 across VOD (Video on Demand), Digital and Blu-Ray from the following channels: Prime, Microsoft, Google Play, iTunes, Vimeo, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home.
