Buchart Colbert is an indie fragrance house built around six fragrances, each one inspired by an opera. The brand's whole premise is that the scents live in different worlds. The site had to reveal those worlds on a page and convey the scent of each.

Following the Brand Essence study, Skaggs designed and built the Shopify site, using photography and botanical illustration to create the world of each fragrance on the page. The illustrations gave each scent a visual identity of its own and worked alongside the photography to anchor the brand's world.
