With a dramatic, inviting, new identity and brand enhancement in place, Skaggs turned to redesigning the packaging for Morphe’s flagship products. Skaggs named and created new packaging for eight different products, including their signature eye color palette, Dare to Create. Inspired by Morphe’s famous brushes, makeup’s most essential tools, the new design incorporates a brush stroke image in four high gloss foil colors which are then overlaid on matte black carton. Matching each color to its product category serves as a visual organizational tool, relating similar products to each other for ease of use. For the Dare to Create eye color palette, Skaggs also designed the package inserts and layout to help users identify base and accent colors for easier application.
